This average auto insurance premium was calculated by assuming that all insured vehicles carry liability coverage but not necessarily comprehensive or collision coverage.

What about Colorado Auto Insurance Costs?

Colorado ranked right at the middle at #25  for auto insurance expenditures.  Liability coverage averaged $446.62 per year, comprehensive coverage average $254.24 per year, and collision coverage averaged $143.17 per year.
Over the past 5 years, the average auto insurance policy’s premium has actually decreased about 5% overall.
